After the lecture tour and Ilford’s exhibition of my black and white photographs I began to think how to make a full time living out of climbing. Sponsorship for my expeditions helped but it still took a lot of time, money and effort to make one happen. However there were no great Aha! moments. Climbing harder rock routes including some new routes in Wales kept me moving in the right direction.
I also continued to write and get published.
